Turkish Airlines expands its fleet.
Turkish Airlines fleet expansion will lead to an increase in the
company’s passenger traffic, which in 2011 is expected to reach 37
million people, RIA Novosti reports.
The Turkish Airlines fleet numbers 147 aircraft with an average age of
6.2 years, ATW Online reports. The company has already placed orders
for 90 new aircraft. In the last week the airline received its first
A330 and A330-200 airliners. The number of weekly flights by Turkish
Airlines is expected to almost double in the next five years.
