The municipality of Aspropyrgos, an industrial town in Greece, is holding negotiations on cooperation with Theodosius, its delegation will arrive in Crimea soon. This was stated by the head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) at the Russian Embassy in Athens, the head of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Greece, Peter Kuprikov.
"The municipality of Aspropyrgos is now negotiating on interaction with Theodosius," he said. "I think that they will come to an agreement in the near term. And it is quite natural, because the area of the Crimea is attractive to the Greeks from all points of view."
"All restrictions in mutual trade, which arose due to EU sanctions against Russia and the Russian response restrictive measures, of course, cause them great harm," Kuprikov said.
"The new government, of course, makes certain adjustments, despite all the complexity. Greece, developing relations with Russia, of course, will develop ties with that part of the country where there are many Greeks. And now this is Crimea."
