Rosneft vice president calls oil prices manipulated

 

Rosneft Vice President Mikhail Leontyev said that oil prices were manipulated, so they will remain unstable. He doubts that Saudi Arabia was playing against the U.S. and its shale projects on the oil market, TASS reports.Leontyev has accused Saudi Arabia of lying. He believes that the sudden change in oil prices was a result of ease of pressure on Saudi Arabia and tensions in the U.S. Leontyev added that the advantage from energy prices being lower for the U.S. than for Europe and Asia was gone.
