President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is playing it's role in providing the region with energy security and that now, after signing a significant agreement on the Southern Gas corridor, it becomes an important partner for Europe.
"We are on the right track, the construction has already started. We are committed to implementing TANAP by 2018, and TAP by 2020. But we need more support and more mutual trust between all the members of the team," he concluded.
