Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with the Vice-Chancellor and Federal Economy Minister of Germany Sigmar Gabriel and representatives of business circles of Russia and Germany on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reports that the participants in the meeting talked about the huge potential of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation between the countries.
"The readiness of German business to continue its activity on the Russian market has been stressed, there is a lot of interest in a rapid exit from the sanctions-based confrontation mode," RIA Novosti quotes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying.
