The new president of BP, Robert Dudley, and the former head of the company, Tony Hayward, have arrived in Azerbaijan on a two-day visit, APA reports, citing a BP-Azerbaijan statement.
Their schedule includes meetings with the authorities and the staff of BP-Azerbaijan and visiting the Sangachal terminal.
The new BP Group president will be introduced to Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev. He will be informed about the projects BP is involved in. Dudley will talk about the plans to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan and continue fulfilling its duties as an operator of the largest oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan.
Dudley will meet the authorities of SOCAR and discuss plans of cooperation.
