An appropriate oil price at the moment is $80-$85 per barrel, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said on the TV program 'Pozner'.
"It is unlikely that it will return to $110-$120 per barrel, but I will repeat what I said earlier -$80-$85 looks reasonable, even with all the trends," TASS cited him as saying.
"A very low oil price does not benefit anyone, because it's hard for the budgets of countries that produce oil - they also want to exist. And a lot of investment will not take place if there is such volatility in oil prices," the deputy prime minister warned.
However, he has no doubts that oil prices will return to a reasonable level. "I do not know to what level, at Davos the majority agreed with the opinion that a range of $70-$80 per barrel is a reasonable interval," Arkady Dvorkovich concluded.
