Georgian Ministry for Economy to sell its building to stabilize currency

 

Georgian Minister for Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili said that the Ministry for Economy and Sustainable Development will sell the old building of the National Bank, where the ministry is located, president’s residence in Bobokvati (Adjara AR), the territory of the government’s country houses in Tskheti (Tbilisi outskirts), a thermal power plant and the lottery license to stabilize lari prices, New Georgia reports.The minister expects the sales to make $300-350 million. He added that legal initiatives will be realized to encourage business and investments. The prime minister will give details in the near future, Kvirikashvili added.
