GDP of Armenia fails to live up to expectations

The GDP of Armenia increased by 3.4% to 4.4 trillion drams in 2014. The state budget was to rise by 5.2%. The Ministry for Economy expected a GDP growth of 4%, Gazeta.ru reports.


The result was indeed above the forecasts of the IMF and the World Bank. The two institutions predicted a GDP increase by only 2.6%.
