The 12th inter-regional exhibition with international participation 'Business Dagestan-2015' is scheduled to run from March 19 to 21.
The upcoming event will be attended by more than 100 companies and organizations from Dagestan and other Russian regions, among them plants, telecommunication companies, banks, banking institutions, leading Dagestani universities, and the Dagestan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The main purpose of the exhibition is assisting manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers from different regions of the country in promoting their products to markets in Dagestan and North Caucasus regions, and promoting and supporting import substitution and export of a wide range of items, including high-tech products.
Applications are submitted until a week before the show.
The business part of the exhibition includes conferences, workshops, round tables and presentations.
"Exhibitions like this create a favorable investment climate to attract potential domestic and foreign investors to the republic’s economy, and help boost promotion of competitive products, goods and services," Yuga.ru cited the CEO of Dagestan-EXPO, Magomed Saruglanov, as saying.
