Kabardino-Balkarian projects enter import-displacement program

 

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kabardino-Balkaria announced today that three out of 14 industrial projects of the republic may enter the state import-displacement program. They will get 17.5 billion rubles of financial support and were promoted by the Russian Ministry of Industry as priority federal-level investment projects, TASS reports.The projects include the Tyrnyauz wolfram and molybdenum metallurgy complex (worth 14.2 billion rubles, opening of over 1,000 workplaces), modernization of the Telekalmaz drilling and stone-processing facility (worth 400 million rubles, 70 workplaces) and production of vacuum switches, electromagnetic contacts for electric trains and locomotives, transformers of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic devices at the Nalchik High-Volt Equipment Factory.About 1,500 new workplaces will open after realization of the projects.
