Agricultural fairs will be held in Baku on the eve of Novruz on March 14-19, the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan has announced.
The Ministry of Agriculture is preparing for them in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy & Industry and the Executive Authority of Baku.
The purpose of the event is to better provide for the needs of Baku in food products, empowering consumer choice and artificial price suppression.
Fairs will be equipped with mobile laboratories for phytosanitary and veterinary control of products of plant and animal origin, Trend reports.
