Nuclear 'specialist' taken hostage in Iran

Militants of the Sunni terrorist organization Jundallah claim that they have taken hostage a specialist from the Iranian nuclear energy organization, Amir Hossein Shirani, and are threatening to reveal all the secrets of the national nuclear program unless the government releases 200 political prisoners, Reuters reports.

The Iranian authorities insist that Shirani is not a nuclear energy expert and has no secret knowledge because he is a manual worker. He is currently being held in the south-east province of Sistan and Belujistan.
