Sanctions leave Iran without oil revenues

Iran has failed to make $7.8 billion from oil exports as a result of international sanctions, as stated by Spokesman of the Iranian Government Mohammad Nobakht today, RIA Novosti reports.

The sanctions hinder transfer of money through international banks.

The main buyers of Iranian oil are China, India, Japan, South Africa and Turkey, according to Nobakht. Iran earned $52.8 billion from oil exports in 12 months.
