Georgia has enough wheat until late November

The Georgian market has received German and Hungarian wheat, Business Georgia reports.
The founder of Agrikom, Koka Osipov, said that up to 10 Georgian companies have imported 15,000 tons of German and Hungarian wheat for the first time. The price per ton was $335-$440.
Georgian companies are planning to import wheat from the USA as well.


Osipov said that the Georgian market has enough wheat until late November. Traditionally the main source of imports have been Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Russia introduced limits on wheat exports to Georgia due to the high temperatures this year.
