Possible joint projects were discussed today at a meeting between Levan Varshalomidze, the Prime Minister of Adjara, and a Turkish delegation, News-Georgia reports.
The sides discussed the opening of a Center for Foreign Languages in Adjara, the completion of a Georgian-Turkish project for rehabilitation of the health facilities in mountainous areas of Adjara, which is expected to be completed in two months, a new joint project involving the restoration of the fortress of Gonio and of the Turkish baths in Adjara to promote tourism, and the prospect of rebuilding the Maradidi-Machakhela road.
