Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko at a meeting with the head of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov commended the approach of the republic to the formation of anti-crisis measures. Matviyenko noted in particular that in the preparation of the anti-crisis plan of the republic the main principle was fulfilment of social obligations to the population and implementation of various measures to support small and medium-sized businesses.
The speaker of the Federation Council at the same time pointed out the need to increase production volumes by creating conditions for attracting investment in the region, while increasing its own revenue base and optimizing the budget network.
