Nelli Stelmakh, the director of the department of state purchases and supplies of material resources at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, said that Ukraine needed about 677 million hryvnias (around $30 million) to feed the soldiers, considering the 5th and the 6th rounds of mobilization and autumn conscription. The armed forces will consist of 250,000 soldiers and will need more resources, TASS reports.
Stelmakh noted that 2.184 billion hryvnias were issued for military food, over 7 billion hryvnias for administrative support. 17.3 billion hryvnias will be issued this year for the army upkeep.
