Baku Metro receives new electric trains from Metrovagonmash

The Russian company Metrovagonmash, which is part of Transmashholding Ltd, has begun shipping underground trains of the new types of models 81-760B / 761B / 763B to Baku.

The first two trains were sent to Azerbaijan in late March, the delivery of another has been scheduled for April. The new trains are intended to be used on the third line of the Baku Metro.

Under the contract, Baku will receive three trains of five carriages, Trend reports.
