Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has discussed the construction of six power plants with the energy authorities of the republic with the attendance of Vice Prime Minister Hasan Chakhkiyev and Minister of Finance Ruslan Tsechoyev. Preliminary agreements on the patronage, supervision and characteristics of the project have been made with RusHydro.
Last week, Yevkurov asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to maintain six small gas-piston generators for one and a half years to keep the region supplied with electricity using its own potential.
