Baku prepares for the opening of 14th international tourism exhibition

More than 40 countries will participate in the opening of the international tourism exhibition in Baku on April 2.


"The exhibition will be attended by 371 companies from 42 countries," the executive director of Iteca Caspian, Farid Mammadov, said at today's press conference. "The exhibition will be attended by the Organizing Committee of the 2015 Euro Games in Baku, and 17 national teams from Argentina, Bulgaria, Iran, Georgia, the Dominican Republic, India, Malaysia, Morocco, UAE, Slovenia, Thailand and Turkey," Exhibition Manager Khayal Aliyeva said, adding that for the first time the Maldives are demonstrating their tourism opportunities.Last year alone the exhibition was able to attract the attention of 6000 people, of which 20% were representatives of foreign companies, Interfax-Azerbaijan cited her.
