Turkish-Georgia border crossing not yet complete

Construction of the Sarp customs office and the renovation of the Kobuleti road has led to a large build-up of vehciles on the Turkish border, Business Georgia reports.


The head of Adzharia, Levan Varshalomidze, and the heads of customs offices from the Georgian side and the Governor of Artivin Mustafa Yemlihalioglu, Turkish Trade Attach Volcan Berker, heads of Hopy and Arkhav and Turkish customs offices have visited the site.


They agreed to take measures to prevent queues.


The trailers will stop at Batumi and Kobuleti at special parking spots.
