Turkish authorities have decided to pay Russian tourist agencies for each charter flight with vacationers.
"From 1 April to 31 May 2015 the Turkish authorities will support travel agencies to the amount of $6 thousand for each charter flight engaged in the carriage of tourists to Turkey from the Russian Federation. If a charter flight carries tourists of several agencies at the same time, the amount will be divided proportionally to the number of passengers on each agency," the embassy said.
"The travel agency must submit an application to the General Directorate for Investment of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey to receive support. Applications must be submitted the month following the implementation of the flight. The applications for flights carried out in April will be submitted in May 2015 and for May flights - in June 2015," the embassy added.
