Armenia’s exports dropped by 20-25%, the head of the Union of Exporters of Armenia, Raffi Mkhchyan, told Zhamanak newspaper.
"The exports fell mainly due to, first, the worsened economic situation in the strategic partner country, Russia, and, the second, because of the growing labor migration," ARKA cited him.
"Armenia should focus on light industry, and raise its competitiveness in the European markets rather than restrict itself to the EEU," Mkhchyan said.
