Alexey Pushkov, the head of the Russian State Duma Committee for International Affairs, believes that Iranian oil will enter the world market no sooner than early 2016. He reminded that the Iranian nuclear program remains unsettled, TASS reports.
Pushkov noted that even access to the world market would not make a big change, because Saudi Arabia was compensating for Iran's expulsion from it. Iran had limited access to European markets using Turkish pipelines, added the Russian lawmaker.
The legislator doubts that anyone would invest billions of dollars in construction of oil and gas pipelines through Syria and Iraq.
