The Head of Russian nuclear corporation, Sergey Kiriyenko, said at a press conference in Ankara today that Russia wanted to continue cooperation on nuclear energy projects with Turkey in third countries, RIA Novosti reports.The tender for hydro facilities of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant project was first announced only for Turkish companies. Other companies were not involved, so as to give Turkish companies the needed experience.Rosatom has a portfolio with about 30 projects, including some near Turkey. Besides training, the corporation does its best to let Turkish specialists undergo practical training at nuclear power plants in Russia or third countries.
