Today the Milli Majlis ratified the country’s accession to the Convention on International Carriage by Rail (COTIF).
The chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, Ziyad Samadzadeh, noted that "the Convention provides for the introduction of uniform rules of carriage and development of cooperation between the member-countries and does not oblige Azerbaijan to establish rail communication with Armenia," Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
