Azerbaijan’s finance minister Samir Sharifov is participating in a meeting of finance ministers and heads of the central banks of G-20 member-states, to be held in Washington on April 16-17, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan said.
The meeting will be held to prepare for the meeting of heads of G-20 member-states in Antalya in November 2015. The strategy of sustainable and balanced development, investments and infrastructure, regulation of financial markets, an international tax system and other issues will be discussed at this meeting," 1news.az reports.
Senior representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development will also attend the meeting.
The finance minister will also take part in the IMF and WB traditional spring meetings.
