Krasnodar Territory has started building a technological bridge over the Kerch Strait to help builders bring materials and equipment for a major construction to connect the road and railway networks of Crimea and continental Russia, Channel One reports.The first section of the bridge will run from the Taman coast of Krasnodar Territory to the Tuzla Island. It is a six-kilometer sand line in the Azov Sea between Taman and Crimea.Roman Starovoyt, the head of the Federal Road Agency, said that minesweeping, archeological research and erection of construction sites was going simultaneously.The Kerch Bridge will have been built by the December 18, 2018. It will be 19km long. Pre-commissioning work will have been completed by June 30, 2019.
