An Iranian Economic and Trade Exhibition has opened in Astrakhan. More than 40 companies from the northern Iranian provinces will demonstrate its products there, Iran News reports.
This exhibition aims at strengthening trade ties and expanding trade and economic relations between Iran and Astrakhan, which is a gate to supplying the vast Russian market with Iranian goods.
The exhibition will be open for three days.
Astrakhan is the most important Russian port in the north-western part of the Caspian Sea and serves as a bridge for trade between Iran and Russia.
