The President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that the IOC transferred Russia’s share for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi to the Russian Olympic Committee.Putin noted that Russia had always supported the international Olympic movement and will continue doing so. He expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.Bach described his meeting with a former university student who was planning to return to Kazakhstan after graduation and develop the local sports movement.
