Ilham Aliyev meets with EBRD President

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Suma Chakrabarti.

The head of state stressed successful cooperation between the government of Azerbaijan and the EBRD.

 

Chakrabarti, in his turn, said Azerbaijan is a reliable partner,and the EBRD attaches great importance to this cooperation. He also expressed satisfaction with the projects carried out in Azerbaijan, and stressed the importance of the work done in diversification of the economy and the development of the non-oil sector in the country.They exchanged views on issues related to the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EBRD, the establishment of energy infrastructure, in the spjeres of information-communication technologies, transport and agriculture, Trend reports.
