Ural Airlines open regular flights from Domodedovo to Krasnodar

Ural Airlines have started regular flights from Domodedovo airport to Krasnodar. The company will use an Airbus A320 with 2 classes. The flights will be available from Moscow on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with return flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, RIA Novosti reports, citing the company.


The company believes that businessmen will be those most interested in the flights. There will be links to flights to Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chita and Yekaterinburg from Moscow.


Ural Airlines is one of Russia's top 10 air companies according to the level of security and cargo transport capacity. In 2009 approximately 1.5 million passengers used its services, its airplanes carried out 13,600 flights.


Airbus aircraft are the basis of the company's air park. Ural Airlines exploits A320 and A321s, according to operational leasing. The company will receive new A320s in the near future.


Domodedovo is the largest airport in Russia. 46% of the total air passengers in Moscow pass through it. 75 companies make flights from Domodedovo on 234 routes all over the world, 95 of which are unique to the Moscow region. The airport has 47 foreign partners (12 of them from CIS countries) and 28 Russian. In 2009 Domodedovo served 18.7 million passengers.
