The Banker magazine has named Giorgi Kadagidze, the Governor and Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Georgia, the best manager of a Central Bank in Europe in 2014. An editor of the British journal praised the performance of the financial sector of Georgia, its capitalization, stability and sustainability, Georgia Online reports.
Kadagidze said that his commendation demonstrated the commitment to the financial course chosen by the government.
