The noise level in the Baku metro will decrease due to the rail welding technology, the Director General of the Russian company 'GT-aluminothermic welding', Vladimir Lenkin, said.
He said that his company was the first carried out welding work in the Baku metro in 2014. Lenkin said that the interaction between the GT-aluminothermic welding and Baku Metro CJSC will be developed.
"Our cooperation will continue in the second half of this year. As you know, there is a plan for the future development of the Baku Metro to 2030, and we intend to continue cooperation within its framework. In addition to the technical values, there is also a social - it will be much quieter in the subway, which will increase the comfort of the citizens," he said.
