Stavropol Territory increased grain exports from a little over 3 million tons in 2013 to about 4.5 million tons in 2014, according to Deputy Prime Minister Nuikolai Velikdan of the region, Interfax-South reports.
In his words, the rise of exports is a result of gross harvesting of about 9 million tons of grain in Stavropol Territory.
