Russia to start laying Turkish Stream pipelines in three weeks

Gazprom will start laying a pipeline for the Turkish Stream project early in June, the deputy head of Gazprom, Vitaly Markelov, said during a press conference.


"The work will begin in shallow waters in the first half of June," TASS cited him as saying.


In addition, Gazprom noted that all pipes purchased earlier for the South Stream project will be involved in the construction of the Turkish stream.
