The Iranian government has allowed the development of trade relations with US national companies, the head of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Gholamreza Shafei, said today.
"Informal communication may pave the way for the establishment of joint chambers of commerce between Iran and the US,’’ Shafei told the Mehr news agency, stressing that the idea of creating a joint Chamber of Commerce has been discussed with the United States in Iran for 10 months, RIA Novosti reports.
US employers have already established an Iranian-American Chamber of Commerce on a voluntary basis, but it was not officially registered.
