Oil fields on the island of Laban in the territorial waters of Iran will be developed by the Polish company Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo. The corresponding memorandum with PGNiG was signed by the National Iranian Oil Company.
Manager of PGNiG Bohuslav Sozansky added that the company could invest $1 billion in the development of oil fields. According to him, the resumption of the former cooperation with Iran is possible due to the phasing out of anti-Iranian sanctions, Trend reports.
