Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said that Ukraine owed Russia $29.477 billion. $2.604 billion of the sum were the debt for gas supplies in 2013-2014 and penalties according to the take-or-pay system, Gazeta.ru reports.
$200 million of the sum was the debt for gas supplies to the south-east of Ukraine. The penalties were accrued in 2012, 2013 and 2014, Miller claims.
