Armenia reduces consumption of water from Lake Sevan

Aram Arutyunyan, the head of the Armenian State Committee for Water, said at the parliament today that consumption of water from Lake Sevan dropped. In his words, the water level in February 2015 was 1912cm, 5cm lower than the level in February 2014. The water level today is 1951cm, News.am reports.


Irrigation intake from Sevan started on May 1, 2014. The intake of 2015 has not started yet.
