The Greek part of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline will be built by 2019, the Ministry for Energy announced today according to the results of talks held yesterday between Minister for Industrial Reforms, Environment and Energy of Greece Panagiotis Lafazanisa, Minister for Energy of Russia Alexander Novak and Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller.
"Lafazanis and Novak rated as very positive the steps that have been made in preparation for the construction of a gas pipeline on Greek territory to supply the Russian gas and identify the necessary steps to make at government level in the upcoming months for political support for the pipeline," RIA Novosti quotes a message of the Ministry for Energy.
The meeting with Miller, in turn, was dedicated to considering investors who are ready to participate with Greece in the investment scheme of construction of the Turkish Stream.
