Kabardino-Balkaria has compiled a registry of all war veterans and the relatives of deceased veterans that need housing, Yuga.ru reports.
There are 446 veterans registered, according to the information on October 20, 2010, that have been waiting for an improvement of their housing situation since March 1, 2005. The republic has viewed the documents of 394 people and provided subsidies for 268 veterans.
The remaining grants from the federal budget to the budget of Karachay Cherkessia to provide the veterans of war and the relatives of the deceased invalids and war participants is 331.9 million rubles. This allows all the registered veterans to receive subsidies according to schedule.
