Heavy rains in Kabardino-Balkaria last weekends destroyed 1,800 hectares of corn, wheat, winter crops, potatores in the Zolsky and the Tersky Districts, according to Kabardino-Balkarian Minister of Agriculture Maued Dadov, TASS reports.
Dozens of houses and the gas pipeline were damaged, bridges and roads destroyed in the villages of Svetlovodskoye, Oktyabrskaya, Shordakovo, Belokamenskoye, Kichmalka, Khabaz. Reconstruction of a bridge in Shordakovo and plumbing in Zalukokoazhe has been completed. Traffic in Oktyabrskoye has been restored.
