Last night the Dusheti and Tianeti districts of Georgia's Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region were hit by a hurricane, causing flooding and landslides.
The natural disasters destroyed roads, bridges, houses and power lines, and washed away crops, leaving the population with no hope for the harvest.
According to Interfax, the villages of Tianeti, Gudzhanelebi, Tskarosubani, Zion and other villages in the Dusheti district are completely flooded.
