The volume of direct Azerbaijani investments in Turkey has tripled compared to the same period of 2014, and stands at $277 million. This figure was equal to $88 million in January-March 2014, Turkey's Central Bank said in its report.
According to the report, Azerbaijan invested $73 million in Turkey's economy in January, $30 million in February and $174 million in March, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan ranked second with a 9.89% share among Asian countries for the volume of investments in Turkey in the first quarter of 2015.
Azerbaijan ranks fourth among all the countries which have made investments in Turkey's economy. Russia ranks first with $737 million (26.3%), followed by the Netherlands – $441 million (15.75%) and Malaysia - $317 million (11.3%).
