Gerogia simplifies postal clearenc

The Revenue Department of the Georgian Finance Ministry has simplified
the procedures of clearing postal items at customs. In connection with
this, a presentation will take place tomorrow by the head of the
department, Georgi Tskhakhaya, Georgia online reports.

As the Revenue Department reported, in order to facilitate clearance
at customs a parcel will be delivered to the post office upon arrival,
so that the owner can pick it up directly from the post office.

However, when a parcel requires clearance, the owner will receive a
document with the stated clearance fee, which he or she should pay
into any bank within 30 days.
