Iran begins loading fuel into reactor at Bushehr

Iran began loading fuel into the reactor of the Bushehr power plant on
Tuesday, Trend reports, referring to the Iranian English-language
channel Press TV.

The construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant was begun in 1974
by the German company Kraftwerk Union. In 1980 Kraftwerk Union broke
the contract, due to the fact that the West German government joined
the US embargo on supplying equipment to Iran. Since the 1990's the
construction of the power plant has been led by Russian specialists,
RIA Novosti reports.
