"Stavropol broiler" starts halal production

The "Stavropol Broiler" company is the biggest poultry producer in the south of Russia. For the first time the company is starting production of certified halal products with adherence to all Islamic prescriptions, RIA Novosti reports, citing the company's press-release.
According to the company, it can supply halal production to all republics of the North Caucasus because of its good geographical location.
"Halal production is quite a complex process, as all Muslim traditions must be observed," a spokeswomen for the company said.
