The Turkish management for exploration and studies has revealed
reserves of petrolo oil equal to 8 billion tons in Anatolia, Trend
reports, citing the management.
It can be processed into oil and gas. Reserves at Konya-Eregli and
Nigde-Bor may hold from 2.6 to 8.3 billion barrels of oil, some
estimate the sum as $218-687 billion.
Earlier Turkish reserves were estimated to have 1.64 billion tons.
Petrolo shale has been found in various Turkish regions, including
Ankara, Kutakhiya, Bolu, Nidzhde, Kodzhaeli, Balykesir, Korum, Amasya.
